How to use & FAQ
Does conversion reduce quality?
PNG keeps the image quality, unless you reduce the number of colors to make it smaller. JPG and WebP depend on the quality setting; at the default 85%, differences are hard to spot in most photos. Use the comparison slider to check for yourself.
My WebP file won't open.
Some older apps and sites don't support WebP. Converting it to JPG or PNG usually helps.
What happens to date and location details?
They're removed by default, so details such as your home location don't travel with a shared photo. For JPG, PNG and WebP, Extra settings can keep basic date and camera information.
Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG?
Yes. Add the HEIC photo and choose JPEG as the output format. You can convert several at once.
Should I choose JPG, PNG or WebP?
JPG is a safe choice when you're unsure where you'll upload it. Choose PNG for transparent logos, or WebP for smaller files on websites and blogs.
What happens to a transparent background?
PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG doesn't support it, so transparent areas become white.
