Upscale images — standard and AI
Make small photos and illustrations larger.
AI processing time depends on your device. We’ll estimate the time before starting.
JPEG, PNG, WebP · 25MB per photo · up to 16 megapixels
AI redraws details. If the result looks too much like a painting, lower the restoration strength.

AI files are stored in your browser. Connecting a save folder moves them into its models folder, where new downloads are also saved. You can export or delete them here. Disconnecting a folder leaves its existing files in place.
Websites cannot open Explorer or read a folder’s full path. Enter the connected folder’s full path once to copy its models path.
How to use & FAQ
How to use & FAQ
What is the difference between standard and AI upscaling?
Standard upscaling increases size without extra downloads. AI uses learned patterns to refine edges and texture. It can invent details, so check faces and text with the comparison slider.
Does AI work on phones?
Supported browsers can run AI on phones. If GPU processing is unavailable, CPU processing takes longer. Try a smaller photo if memory runs out. You can cancel at any time.
Where are downloaded AI files stored?
They stay in this browser. Delete them under Saved AI files here or on the data management page. Clearing browser data may require another download.
Can I fix a photo damaged by repeated sharing?
Try AI restore. It can reduce blocky compression artifacts without changing the dimensions. It cannot recover missing details exactly, and text or faces may change. Zoom in and compare before saving.
My enlarged photo looks pixelated. What can I do?
In AI restore, select the factor used before (2×, 3× or 4×). We reduce it by that amount, apply AI, and save at its current dimensions. The original factor is not detected automatically. If you are unsure, compare the automatic option.
Why reduce large photos first?
AI enlargement accepts up to 2 million input pixels to limit processing time. For larger photos, choose restoration at the current size or reduce first and then enlarge. Speed varies by device. Progress and time estimates cover AI processing; file preparation follows.
AI enlargement is taking too long.
AI runs on your device, so graphics performance matters. Choose a smaller input for a faster result, or use standard enlargement without AI.
How does AI work without uploading my photo?
You download AI files the first time you use them. Your device uses those files to process the photo locally, so speed depends on its performance.
