AI files are stored in your browser. Connecting a save folder moves them into its models folder, where new downloads are also saved. You can export or delete them here. Disconnecting a folder leaves its existing files in place.

Websites cannot open Explorer or read a folder’s full path. Enter the connected folder’s full path once to copy its models path.

Cover the whole sensitive area

Cover faces, vehicle plates, or name tags before sharing a photo. A weak blur or a few small mosaic blocks may leave information recognizable. Also consider whether the surroundings identify the person. Share the final saved copy, not an editable project or the original alongside it, and check that copy before posting.

Paint a face or plate with the add brush to apply mosaic without an AI model, or use automatic selection. Increase the block size and inspect the actual output size to check that text or features are no longer recognizable.

  1. Find every area to cover, including reflected text and badges.
  2. Select a slightly wider area and make the mosaic blocks large enough.
  3. Reopen the saved copy, zoom in, and check for remaining information.
Is a light blur enough for privacy?

A weak blur can leave large letters or recognizable outlines. Use a sufficiently strong mosaic or crop out sensitive information. Check overlooked details such as name tags and reflections too.

Why is the background covered as well?

The colored selection marks the area being obscured. Use the subtract brush to remove background areas from the selection. Undo or reset if you selected the wrong region.

Is covering the plate number enough?

The number may be reflected in glass or water. Parking permits, stickers, or the location itself can reveal other details. Mosaic affects only the selected area, so use Add to include anything automatic selection missed. Checking the final saved file is an important part of the task.

What should I check when covering a child’s face?

A school badge, name tag, or view outside a home can reveal information even when the face is covered. Hide or crop additional details to suit the audience. For highly sensitive information, removing that part of the picture can be more appropriate than relying on mosaic alone.

Do I have to download AI files?

No. You can paint an area with the Add brush and apply mosaic without downloading a selection model. The model is needed only when you use a stroke or enclosure to select a subject automatically. For a small number or clearly located text, painting the area yourself may be quicker.
